Take your Time, 2008

The oscillating mirror sculpture seems conceived for its position atop Gehry’s hélicoïdal staircase - but it wasn’t. This was a piece from the client’s collection, and the team collaborated with the artist to determine its ideal placement. The chosen position required adjusting the building plans to integrate a weight-bearing support structure and a control unit connection in the ceiling, as well as reconfiguring the illumination and fire safety installations.
